Philippe Taffin began his career in 1987 as a fixed income manager at “BTP Investissements”. In 1988, he joined BAREP as Head of bond trading and third party asset management. Three years later, he was appointed Chief Investment Officer and Head of ALM of ERISA, the life insurance company of CCF-HSBC Group in France. In 1998, he joined AXA Investment Management in Paris as Client Relationship Manager for the French insurance companies of AXA Group.
He then became responsible for the Financial Engineering Group in charge of developing financial investment solutions. In 2005, Philippe joined Crédit Agricole Asset Management/Amundi as Head of the Euro Fixed Income Investment Specialists team. In September 2010, he took in charge the Investment Advisory and Product Development activity in Aviva Investors France before being appointed CIO of Aviva France in May 2012.
Philippe is a graduate from HEC, a leading French business school (1983) and holds a “DEA” from Paris Dauphine University (one year specialist degree in economic science). He is a qualified Actuary from the “Institut des Actuaires Français” (IAF).
