Kevin Tayebaly, Co-Founder & Chief Development Officer, ChangeNOW
Kevin spends the early years of his career transforming the cultural space in Mumbai, India, with his first social venture – a cultural education center targeted towards the less privileged populations of the city. Pumped by the tech wave at the end of the 2000s and the scalability potential of fast growing digital giants, he decides to come back to join the European tech scene. Later in 2014-2015, during his time at INSEAD, Kevin looks back at his contrasting career experiences and starts exploring a new type of business : mission-driven companies, or « B-Corps », which combine purpose with a viable and scalable business model.
This is when the idea hits him : making environmental & social impact converge, whilst enhancing scalability potential. He goes on to found his second mission-driven company – an e-commerce platform dedicated to supporting local independent retailers in large cities – for which he wins the BCG Young Social Entrepreneur of the Year Award in 2016. In 2017, he co-founds ChangeNOW to contribute to the rise of a new, virtuous & responsible business culture across the world.
