With more than 30 years of experience in legal, operational and general management positions, Sabine Lochmann now serves as the president of Vigeo Eiris (V.E) and the global head of Moody’s ESG Measures. Under these titles, she steers the V.E’s development strategy and the evolution of its business model, as well as assuming responsibility for Moody’s ESG Data, Analytics & Scores.
With university degrees from France, the USA and South Africa, Sabine Lochmann began her career in a law firm in Abidjan. She then became a corporate lawyer when she returned to France, joining major service or industrial companies: Serete (Jacobs Engineering), JC Decaux and Johnson & Johnson. She had various operational roles at Johnson & Johnson including Director of Marketing, Market Access, Government & Strategic Affairs which she held from 2008 to 2013.
In January 2014, Sabine joined BPI Group (a management and HR consultancy) as Chief Executive Officer, becoming its President in 2015. It was upon leaving BPI Group, which operates in France, the USA, Spain and Russia, that Sabine joined V.E, after leading its turnaround.
On February 1st, 2021, Sabine was appointed as the global head of Moody’s ESG Measures while maintaining her role as the president of V.E.
